We've come a long way baby...

I couldn't let this day pass without posting something on the blog. A year ago today, our lives changed forever, Bei became our son. I want to thank everyone who has supported us through their words, thoughts and prayers. It has meant so much more than what we can express.

So what about Bei? You all have watched up close or from afar a toddler who leg muscles were so atrophied that he teetered-tottered when he walked, to a little boy running and jumping. From a scared little toddler who wouldn't let me put him down for two straight days while in China, to a confident little boy. From communicating with sign language to talking up a storm. A toddler that went through a serious high risk surgery with aplomb and then gained 10 lbs and 5 inches. I feel like God personally handed us the most precious gift in the universe, a child, who's name is Bei.
